About Us
What difference have we made?
Since the Community Foundation for Surrey started in 2005 it has supported 507 organisations with grants totalling £1.5 million. This has directly impacted at least 15,210 individuals in need.
Here are just some examples of some of the projects that we have helped recently:
- 'Handicamp' - a weekend camp that buddies children with special needs with scouts, to participate in adventurous activities in Woking.
- A support group for parents and carers of children with Dyspraxia in Surrey
- A bi-monthly social club for adults with mental health issues in Epsom & Ewell
- Running and outing costs for the Fordwater White Cane social club which supports people with sight impairments in Runnymede
- Breaks and holidays for disadvantaged children and families in the Leatherhead and Fetcham area.
