Staff
Wendy Varcoe
Executive Director
Wendy helped establish the founding of the Community Foundation for Surrey in 2005 becoming its first Executive Director, heading up the team and taking overall responsibility for strategy and development. In this time she has overseen the development of our permanent funds as well as increasing the numbers of grants given to support community needs.

Laura Thurlow
Programme Manager
Laura joined the Community Foundation for Surrey in 2008 and since this time has been promoted to Programme Manager. She oversees all of the Grants Programme, including Comic Relief, Grassroots Grants and Donor Funds. She works closely with voluntary and charitable organisations throughout the county and with donors to ensure their giving objectives are met.

Fran Everist
Development & Marketing Manager
Fran works part-time managing our marketing and development, ensuring that the Community Foundation has a high profile amongst charitable organisations and donors so that we can increase the level of donations we receive and people we can help.

Emma Wolfe
Grants Officer
Emma is a recent Graduate who has been working in Surrey for the past 18 months. She is responsible for assessing grant applications and making grant recommendations as well as maintaining relationships with voluntary and community groups throughout the county.

Louise Phillips
Administrative & Research Officer
Louise has also recently graduated and joins the Foundation to provide administrative support to the Grants team and Board of Trustees as well as invaluable research for the Marketing and Development work.

Roger Williams
Finance Manager
Roger works part-time, managing our finance and producing statutory accounts. He assists with the Foundation's investments and works closely with the Grants Team to manage the donor funds.
