Why Give to the Horsleys Community Fund?
- The Fund enables people who love the Horsleys to donate money for the exclusive benefit of the villages and its people.
- Help build a stronger community by supporting something that can make impact locally and that will empower the Horsleys to help itself.
- The Horsleys Community Fund (HCF) is professionally managed through the 'Community Foundation for Surrey' which, for a nominal fee, handles all the administration, obtains the tax relief and match funding, makes grant payments and manages the investment of our Permanent Fund.
- Giving to the HCF is an effective way of generating extra funds. Donations qualify for Gift Aid and where applicable Inheritance Tax Relief.
- It provides a tax effective way of meeting the needs of the village.
- For the first time, it is now possible to leave a tax efficient legacy specifically for the Horsleys. Hart Brown Solicitors are providing a free initial telephone consultation to anyone requiring advice on how to do this.
- All donations will be confidential
The more our Fund grows, the more grants we can give out to meet the needs of our village
Could you help build our Community Fund?
Our home is more than just the house we live in. It is the villages as a whole; the physical environment, the people and the organisations that bring us all together. Contributing to a local fund enhances personal connection to the community that surrounds us, breaks down barriers and gives opportunities to make new friendships.
If you are participating in a sponsored event, or if you are in a position to make a charitable donation, would you consider Horsleys Community Fund as a worthy cause, either as your chosen charity – or as one of a number of charities you support? If so the Horsleys Community Fund can ensure that it is people near to you that will benefit.
