Lingfield Wildlife Area
The Lingfield Nature Reserves, combining the Lingfield Wildlife Area and Centenary Fields, provide a beautiful wildlife area for the people of Lingfield and the surrounding district to enjoy. The area has been developed in keeping with the character of the local countryside and gives genuine access to all, irrespective of fitness and physical condition. Unfortunately one of the main paths through the area had become worn away over time and the surface urgently needed replacing. The path formed a key route for local families and children to reach their local school by foot, and also provided wheelchair access.
By providing a £4,898 grant from our Orchid Environmental Trust Fund the path has now been upgraded so that it is again fully accessible for wheelchairs and buggies.
